View Orkut Album Photos Full Screen

Orkut recently has released yet another cool feature to enhance the photo viewing experience, now when you see an update from your orkut friend who has just uploaded a photo album, you will see a link below the album title in the notification on your orkut timeline

Just click on View in full screen and then the entire browser screen will dim highlighting the photos in full screen size in the center, You can hover over the thumbnail strip at the bottom to enlarge a particular image at anytime.

When you’re still in full-screen view, try playing around with some of the keyboard controls
(like Home, End, left and right arrows, Spacebar, and Escape), to see what happens.

Get Notified When Anyone Replies on Your Topic in any Orkut Community

Orkut recently have added a new features in which you can Get Notified When Anyone Replies on Your Topic in any Orkut Community. You will be updated about any update on any discussion in which you participated in any orkut community.

So, if you started a topic in any community or replied to any of the topic, you will be notified whenever any new reply is made on that topic.

And the best thing is when you get the updates your friends won’t be able to see it so you get some privacy

Orkut Community Recommendations

Orkut added yet another new feature. Now they are showing community recommendations on your orkut home.

Recommendations are based on your profile and network. If you are curious as why a particular community has been recommended to you, just click on view all link below community recommendation box. You will be take to a dedicated community recommendation page, where you can check individually why a particular community has been recommended to you.

If you don’t like this new feature, you can turn it off by going to settings page and unchecking community recommendations checkbox.
